Help Us Print NZ’s First Surgical Menopause Booklet

This campaign is now closed. Thank you to everyone who donated!

Surgical menopause happens suddenly often after surgery to reduce cancer risk, manage endometriosis, or treat other serious health conditions. The hormonal impact is immediate. The physical, emotional and mental effects can be life-altering.

Right now, there is no dedicated printed information in Aotearoa New Zealand to help women understand and navigate this experience.

We’re working to change that.

Surgical Menopause New Zealand Trust is developing:

  • NZ’s first surgical menopause booklet – supportive, evidence-based and grounded in lived experience
  • A tri-fold brochure, awareness poster and business cards to reach more people
  • Resources that are clear, inclusive and accessible to anyone affected by surgical menopause

We’re fundraising to:

  • Print and distribute the booklet nationwide (including postage)
  • Produce additional materials to raise awareness in clinics, GP offices, hospitals and community spaces
  • Support the day-to-day work of our small, woman-led charitable trust

Every donation helps make surgical menopause visible. It helps women feel seen, supported, and better equipped to manage their health.

Your support means the world!

Together, we can make sure no one is left in the dark after surgery.
